no. this was done because a lot of morts whined for this and the code was
quite ugly.
also, more people have voted -1 on your post than +1. Sometimes we have such
thing as democracy in bat. Though I fear the day that Demo is an archwizard
and we have Democracy...

Well I hope you will apply that same democracy theory
to the ratings of your own tunes, if you value ratings

Well I hope you will apply that same democracy theory

Let me explain this to you one more time:

Just because mortals think that an idea is bad does not mean it is or vice
versa.

Tunes and utility functions are two quite different things. Utility functions
are enhanced/changed because wizards are sometimes fluffy, nice or terminately
insane and want to make the majority happy.

Tunes are done because there is imbalance.
