Oh, I love the events oh so much, they enhance my sense of accomplishment in
the game to a whole new level. The problem is that some of the new players
logging on don't quite see things the way I do. I mean, these loser newbies
say things like:
Kristopherr [newbie]: why am I coughing heavily and shivering in fear? after
effect of the event?
Nu [newbie]: another event, ep eater
Nu [newbie]: ep eater, magic eater, mcdemons, clones are all running right
now, maybe more

I mean, why is it that I can have such fun playing with all 4 events on, while
they just pretend to not enjoy it. Then, the newbie had the nerve to say:
Kristopherr [newbie]: may have to think twice about this game. later all

But, I have to give it to them, they do seem to know what's coming to them
when it's coming...one particularly enlightened newbie pointed out:
Xariel [newbie]: whining about it probably encourages more events to be run?


So in short, down with the loser noobies, up with the rocking awesome
thoughtful lovely huggly wizzes.

(just in case you want, there's a posting of my logging of newbie channel at

event whine loser newbies because I had to log off to prevent dying again
while semi-idle).

I have to agree with Ooga. Yesterday was rather ridiculous. To my knowledge
the sp eater and ep eater events were tuned so that they didn't happen at
times like yesterday or in frequency. I came home from work last night to ep
eater and sp eater on at the same time and 39 unidle players. I just packed up
and went to bed. What fun is it for wizzes to run these type of things and
piss more people off in an already dying mud. I can think of several players
who left just because of reasons like this, though you may think its silly.
