Balthas rolls: 8.
Balthas rolls: 5.
Balthas rolls: 7.

This is how it has been for long, dont even remember when I was better on dice
table than one of last three. Guess this has something to do with 'luck
-factor' in game or some such. But, eh, I someone could check the code and
turn it totally random-like rolling.

Beliave me, I haven't diced to top for like 15 dice parties :) this is
cold-fact.. shitty-code or can I be that unfortuned?

For an 8 man party, there is a 7/8 (87.5%) chance that you do not dice #1 on a
given roll. That means that there is a 13.4% chance that you would never dice
#1 out of 15 rolls. 13.4% isn't exactly a tiny probability. Unfortunate yes,
but probably not out of tune.

Count my numbers. 12 times in a row as last in 9man party dice. That sucks.

It is random.
Random means you get random results every time.
If luck is involved it is you, in real life who is blessed with shitty luck.
But luck doesn't exist right? So it's just random then.

I'm not talking about dicing #1, I'm talking about dicing last every time. A
huge difference.
About Malar, yeah, if that's really so, I cut the crap. But I threw a guess -
yes the numbers all are random - but is it random how the random number are
divided among party members... confusing? Heh, let's leave it here then.

I had to look it up from the code, but I can assure you that party dice is
completely random. Of course, unless, there is a huge conspiracy behind the
linux kernel makers to make the random number generator always spew out
certain values to the LPMud GD when a certain player is involved...
Really, honestly, party dice gives completely random results. The stat that we
don't have has no effect. If you always dice last, you're just hosed with bad
luck IRL :)

Funny thing, before Balthas posted the first post, he asked me if
there was anything funny about party dice and I said it's completely
random. Only after I confirmed that, he posted the post and then
he started telling me again and again that "please do something to
it", up to a point I ended up replying to him with full caps.

The nerve of the some idiots, wasting our wizards precious
idling time. Thank god I'm not an arch, I hear they get
much more of these moronic whines.

Disclaimer. If I say something, and the sentence is coherent, there
are no smileys and it's obvious I'm not being sarcastig or joking.
It DOES mean what I said. Now, if I say the same thing three or
five times, it STILL MEANS THE SAME THING. Damnit, why pester with
the _same_ question againd and again? "But are you sure?"
"But couldn't you do something about it?"
"Could you make sure some other wizard does something?"
Etc. I'm not saying Balthas asked all these questions, he
just implied some and kept basically whining about the same
thing. Hint: look up probability math, this is basic stuff.

Check the time stamps Era. And read your tell last. I admit my whine was
moronic, but as you stated there are no conspiracy what so ever - I posted my
ending on flame and told why I in the first place asked anything.

About the CAPS you used, it was because I tried to explain why I was asking
moronic questions, yes after you told me the facts, but guess we all have bad
days. Thanks for taking this all so seriosly :D
