Could everyone just start using utf8, it's fucking 2008 already. Hate having
to run a terminal with different locale settings from the rest of my system
just for tf, and batclient isn't even configurable so I can't use that at all.

Goddamnit.

In theory, this would be a quite good idea .. but I have a sneaking suspicion,
that in practice there would be numerous problems with it. And someone would
then have to do some work to change those few 8-bit scands and other
characters used in BatMUD's code, in order not to have breakage.
