Hi this is blayke. As many of you know, I have a long and storied past with
pkills, and consider them one the funner and most interactive activities here.
In the immortal words of Avandhar, nothing gets your blood going like a good
pkill! On the other hand, I believe that 95% of my pkills have been for good
reasons. Once upon a time sales cheaters ruled this mud!! But with combined
efforts of the admin and active players who were tired of their shit, charles
and the rest of those bozos are resting in digital hell. Now im going to get
on a soap box, and i know i should just shut the fuck up, but what the hell,
im going to voice my opinion. I think that most pkills here are unjustified
atm. The things that warrant pkilling in my opinion is impoliteness and
rudeness. Being impolite about game things (stealing kills, sheltering in
trafficed areas, summing agro monsters to newbie areas, etc) and being rude is
being _unnecessarily_ rude. Honestly we are are part of a western culture
whos basis is free speech and it constantly surprises me how these "highbies"
go around dishing out punishment to the "lowbies" that DARE say some backtalk.
Please. If you want to pkill there is a system right in batmud in place that
sanctions that. (type pkill start). But no, most of the "highbies" dont have
balls, and you never see them pkilling their fellow highbies, no they pick on
people they KNOW they can kill. I dont know about you, but thats what i call a
bully. If someone fucks with you , then i think you should stand up, fuck
with them back. But picking on someone weaker than you is just pathetic.
Kill them once to teach them a lesson, and then just put them on ignore! Save
the muscle for the fucks who deserve it, sales cheaters, thieves, other
pkillers who wanna kill ya for a laff. And if you do see one of these big tuff
"highbies" killing for fun you can alert other players many of whom take a dim
view of having their friends killed for fun. My 2 cents.
