Following my earlier feedback regarding the recent Nergal changes, I would
like to propose potential compensation options to address the concerns of the
affected players fairly and transparently. These suggestions aim to
acknowledge the substantial investments?both financial and effort-based?that
players made in connection with the Nergal guild prior to the changes.
Suggested Compensation Options for Nergal Ticket Holders:
Reset Rixx Auction Winnings: Allow players to return Nergal-related tickets
and reclaim their exp/gold/tps for reallocation.
Three Options for Ticket Refunds:
Option 1: Full refund of the Rixx-Ticket for any affected Nergal ticket.
Option 2: Half refund of the Rixx-Ticket while keeping the ticket for future
use. (Half of the guild is now gone and all effort put into tank minions
wasted. Specifically thinking of how much time/effort it takes to level up a
minion to the point of naming it, like Ewige did.)
Option 3: Replace the Nergal guild on the ticket with a choice of another
guild.
Suggested Consideration for Customized 50k Rixx Items:
Players who created 50k Rixx items specifically tailored for Nergal should be
given the option to reset those items. This group likely represents a small
number of players, but the investment required to obtain and design such items
is significant. With the Nergal mechanics rendered unusable for their intended
purpose, resetting or offering modifications to these items would prevent
additional frustration and restore goodwill.
These measures would address the immediate concerns of the player base while
demonstrating that the development team values player investments and
engagement. I hope you will give these suggestions due consideration to help
rebuild trust and maintain a positive community atmosphere.
