Several of you probably just saw my massive spam of ship points, indicating
that they are now in the game

Ship points are kind of like task points, that earn your ships abilities. Some
are awarded to players, these you can pass on for free to any ship you're the
captain of. Any other points must be bought with experience or gold for a
specific ship. The more points bought in this way for a ship, the more
expensive it gets.

To view what you can do with these points, visit the luxuries office of the
MA. You may check the current shiptasks remotely, via your guild item as well.

Oh yes, more abilities will come in the future, but enough should be there to
give you an idea of some of the possibilities. Also, in the future there will
be some ship events/quests that might award ship points as well.
