Ship forges have always blocked off 1/2 of any cargo hold they are in
(effectively using up ~500kg in storage space, and having a capacity of ~500kg
themselves). Now they block off 1/4 of the hold, without losing capacity
(think of it as either an improvement in the efficiency of using the space, or
a magical compression effect). That is, a forge costs you ~250kg in space on
the floor, but have a capacity of approx 500kg themselves.
