did anybody see a barbarian without anykind of skill with a sword in the past
!? i think barbarians , basically a guild of warriors, should know how to use
swords...even better than axes!...remember CONAN

The barbarians of Bat are based on digga/runeaxe lore. Our barbarians started
off using branches as clubs (bludgeons) and later fashioned crude axes out of
sharp stones. Besides, it's nice that not everyone gets long blades. You could
argument that every guild should have long blades since nearly all warriors
from literature etc. used a sword of some kind.

Remember Conan was not just a barbarian, he's also a mercenary, thief,
assassin, king, gladiator, bodyguard, etc. Sword making requires more
advanced skills that barbarians don't have and so they were not trained in
sword fighting.

hmm i have almost all comics of conan , i know his past, and i know his first
weapon was a SworD "he almost learned to use a sword even before he learned
