I was talking to a friend today about alloying materials and how
some of the materials for armours and weapons are rather difficult
to find, or even to produce via alloying. Since I've seen cooking
recipes floating around, I thought it would be kinda neat to have
a few mobs around where you could go visit their libraries, or
talk them into giving you a book, with some alloying recipes. Maybe
like a master weaver would have recipes for strange stuff like
neo burlap or hemp, some lonesome potter where you could figure out
how to make porcelain, or a mad sculptor could show you how to
make alabaster, just for some examples. Anyway, I realise that
you could go through and start alloying everything in various
combinations, but it would be nice if there were some in-game
lore you could find that would reveal mysteries like this.
