Okay, so I was vague and inaccurate in my stupid trivia crap. One thing I
forgot is that technically the US air force didn't technically exist until
after WW2. The time frame I was looking at was during WW2 at which time
aircraft were part of the US Army Airforce, which was under the army. Anyhow,
what I was getting at was that prior to WW2 the US planes had red white and
blue in teh form of a big blue circle, with a white star in it, and a red dot
inside the star. Because of the concern with being mistaken for japense air
craft (which had a big red dot on them), the red dot was gotten rid of. There
were a couple other gay changes to the symbol during the war as Mr. Googler
pointed out, but they weren't the ones I thought were intereting and cool! SO
there! Oh well, I suck and I am a loser....but that shouldn't be news to
you!
Oh, btw nullnullnullnullatte, how can you NOT have seen any american planes?
Everyone knows that they are bombing preschools all over the world every
single minute of every single day. You at least should have seen one or two
strafing the school yards of the local school.
