\"The officers tried to test if she was drunk by asking her to stand on
one leg and count to ten but she could count only to seven before falling over
and laughing.\"

I\'ve seen Cops among other shows and same pattern shows up. Is it illegal to
use breath analyzers in U.S. or what? Cheating primitive tests like standing
on one leg and counting isnt hard if you arent dead drunk or handicapped
stupido.

Enlighten me and tell me the reason for such tests.

If you're perfectly capable of passing motoric tests IMHO there's no logical
reason you should be punished for having a blood alcohol level above some
level picked randomly. The system we have here in Norway is just plain stupid
(0.2 percent blood alchol) since perhaps person A could be able to drive just
fine with 0.9 while person B couldn't handle to stay upright with 0.1

Huoh, Ive seen enough tests which show how alcohol affects your
reaction speed and such, which cant be measured by simple tests.
And anyways one can always stay sharper for few mins and thus
fool the tester.

No you haven't. You don't have ANY idea what x.xx blood alcohol percentage
does to ME. On the other hand - I've heard rumors that some times I've
appeared to have been observed not being capable of accomplishing certain
tasks when influenced by alcohol.
My point is that a limit is just as inaccurate and unfair as checking if peole
are able to walk straight, perhaps even more.

Don't drink and drive, period. In fact, don't drink alcohol at all, it's bad
for you.
