Funny, the "movie almost impossible to find in any movie theatre" is the most
seen film in the US now? Gotta say this about Moore, he sure got lucky with
his little PR stunt and are prolly laughing all the way to the bank with the
21.4 million dollars income from the _1st_ weekend.

It was never billed as almost impossible to see, it only said it was playing
in 1/3 of the theatres a new released movie usually plays in. Not much of a
PR "stunt" if it is true.

That is the definition of a PR stunt! Saying something that isn't exactly
true. So the stunt is, "call it the hardest movie to find in a theatre",
while at the same time it isn't all that hard to find. Thus, when you do find
it, you have the mentality of "Hey I gotta see this since I am lucky enough to
have a theatre showing it"

Now whether that is what is happening, I don't know. But if it was, then it
is a PR stunt for sure.

Definition of PR stunt is saying something that isn't exactly true. But that
statement about the # of theatres was 100% true. A tad shy of "isn't
exactly". It is the hardest movie to find if it playing in the least amount
of theatres. So if you consider any publicc statement of fact as a PR stunt,
then well, being a PR stunt isn't a bad thing, in your own logic.

As far as the "hey I gotta see this since I am lucky enough to find it..."
well, that mentality only appears to supid people who don't know about DVD's
and dollar theatre's and HBO and pay-per-view and internet pirating... So if
you thought that after hearing the PR stunt, well, to be polite, you're
stupid.

Did you think that? =)

Anyone who can let a _MOVIE_ change, or even reinforce their own opinions
and views on a topic is, a blithering idiot. Hmmmm I should make an
film about a controversial topic.. and make money =). Moore is a fucking
waste of life, and If I werent so detered by the penalties I would hunt
down and shoot the fucker in his bed. with that said, just goes to show
how many Americans there are that think watching "bowling for columbine"
and "shit-fit 911" can acctually educate them on a topic. Sometimes I
wish having a subscription to a newspaper should be fucking mandatory-
even one with a obvious liberal bias, and censorship like the NY times.

sigh, just running out of patientce for dumbass liberals who have no other
goal/plan other then chanting "republicans are bad!" over and over.
and yet when it comes down to it they have no plan for themselves..
wow im really rambling this time arrent I? just ignore...

what amuses me most is that I posted a conspiracy theory about a conspiracy
theory film, and nobody noticed it :)

The same can be said for people who pay $30+ for wrestling pay-per-views.

Or more correctly, anyone that watches wrestling in the first place.

Okay, I had to go re-read old news when my name re-changed, and I just saw
this...all I have to say is: what the hell are you talking about, $6 to see a
movie? That's not even a matinee, and an evening show is like $10!

Mission Valley Cinema! (Corner of Western and Avent Ferry in Raleigh NC) 5 for
new movies, and they sell alcohol. That doesn't happen much in American
theatres.

Wow they sell alcohol now? I remember my friend one time passed out in that
cinema drunk and they called the cops on him at closing time...
