In addition to Tonto's post, which was 100% relevant, I would like to point
out that before running around righting wrongs, the americans should look to
the situation back at home. There a lot of people who still live in poverty
there, yes, in that 'blessed country' called the United States. America has a
dictator that is much more evil and ruthless, and that is money. So preaching
about improving the lifestyle is utter bullshit, because we all know that
after the 'regime change' there will be another dictator, just as ruthless and
immoral, who will be under the protection of the US government and therefore
allowed to do whatever he wished without interruption. (Btw, concerning
socialism: it could be quite a good way of life, you only have to look at the
Scandinavian countries to see the result of a blend of socialism with a few
drops of capitalism added for good measure). My second point: the USA behaves
itself like it was an angel of righteousness. But one just has to recall
several recent wars to mind, namely the Vietnam war, the 'incursion' into
Somalia, the ruthless bombing of Serbia. You may say Miloshevic is a 'serial
killer' and a 'perpetrator of massacres', but point nr. 1: Serbia is a
_sovereign_ country, therefore what goes inside it's borders is it's
_internal_ matter. I want to see you attempt to bomb Russia because of some
shadowy reports of war crimes there. Go, do it. That would be almost identical
to Serbia. Besides, there are incidents of the so-called mass graves being
falsificated, turning out to be plain potato fields what were said to be mass
graves on the photographs. There are many cases of that. The USA promised to
protect the Serbian population from acts of 'vengeance' by the Kosovo
Albanians. Where are you, and what have you done to that end? The
centuries-old churches and other cultural buldings and artifacts are being
destroyed by the Albanians everywhere in Kosovo to this day. Serbian women,
elders and children are reported missing almost daily, and yet recently they
have even removed KFOR convoys for schoolchildren. There have been 43 killed
in Kosovo Mitrovica just last two months, all of them Serbs. Not a single
killer has been apprehended. So talk about better regime and better living.
And that's with many thousand heavily armed soldiers in the area. How many of
you Americans would be even bothered to look on the map or find out anything
about Iraq (though you must hear of in the news once in a while) if it wasnt
such a mass media campaign to discredit Saddam (who was perfectly acceptable
to your government some time ago). You people are so f*cking brainwashed that
you believe anything that comes from your government, because 'those guys
should know'. Back to my point, this is getting too long already: What makes
you think that you have a moral right to invade a sovereign country and topple
it's current leaders for the 'good of the people of all the world'? Since WW
II all the American troops have done around the world was destroy with 'good
intentions'. The world have seen none of these 'intentions' fulfilled. Perhaps
you yourselves need to think about a change of government in the White House,
for the 'good of all the world'?
