Teah france provided iraq with a nuclear plant, which openly stated they would
use to create nuclear bombs. Israel bombed it, since they certainly don't like
iraq. I'm quite sure that they haven't managed to build an atomic bomb. USA on
the other hand provided iraq with biological and chemical weapons to support
iraq in their war against iran, iran that was the evil nation at that time.
Well I don't belive that all of that is destroyed, but it would be fun to send
Blix to america next and check out your supplies of biological weapons.
This is how I look at the current Bush administration and Bush himself. It's
not to much different from the Soviet union under Stalin. People belived in a
better world and worked hard make it better and please Stalin. Noone should be
able to destroy what they had built. Stalin stated that everyone not loyal to
their country should be thrown in jail, workcamps or be executed. Everyone, I
mean everyone, started accusing everybody and whoever mangaged find most
traitors also got the biggest promotion. So all talk about Stalin executing
millions of people and throwing millions of into the workcamps in Gulag is
just bullshit. He might have been responsible in the end. But the russian
people did this against themself.
The people in the Bush administration know that Bush, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz(?)
and the rest wants a war. So they try to find every kind of evidence that
would justify a war against iraq and thus please Bush.
Bush sees himself as a saviour and as the good leader of the world. And he
wants to use americas power to change the world into a better place. And you
clearly see that when you listen to his speaks. A lot of talk about axis of
evil, we against them, freedom against tyranny, love against hatred... He
love to refer to the bible. I think Bush won't stop with Iraq if we let him
invade it. He will just move the war to states like north corea, cuba etc. I
must admitt that I've dropped my idea that this would only be about oil. Oil
plays a role in iraq though, since the iraq regime would be able to build an
impressive army using their oil money. So that makes them a much bigger threat
then other regimes that america think they have to deal with.
Well wasn't to well written and I could have formulated myself a bit better
since I don't agree with myself when I read it again. But I'm to lazy to edit.
Thing is that America can't the world into one big mcdonalds, it just won't
work and certainly not if you use violence. I understand your concerns about
terrorism, but you have to ask yourself why do they want to hurt us? What did
we do wrong? I think part of the answer is that you are trying to change a
world that is not yours to change.

Well, have you considered that to some degree the people are not merely
misled but actually know what is going on. Your entire post made the
assumption that the American people are being mass brainwashed into a
state of delusion. Been reading to many conspiracy theory websites
have we?

Assuming your scenario to be true then it reasons you believe the
world is either doomed to internal strife or will eventually become
a peaceful cooperative planet competely on its own.

Is it not possible for a period of peace to require a helping hand?
Even socialist systems allow for 2 revolutions. One to overthrow the
old regime and another to overthrow the intermediate
regime as they transform into full socialism.

Why cannot world have same thing? Not saying it should be the U.S. alone
but why cannot the UN act as this force? Perhaps they should join the U.S.
in a cause and insist to not merely stop at destroying Iraq, but
actual ensure that the country is properly recreated. Possibly, even
taking the next country down the line and over and over. There are
many countries which violate UN rules and many of these rules are
simple such as human rights. Do you think they will stop on their own?

Ok, now most of that is general theory not my specific views.
Personally, I feel like the above scenario needs to happen and
the world needs to be in agreement. If rest of UN wants to
leave Iraq alone or give more time then fine by me.
