The midsummer's eve (Juhannus) is on the 25th of June. Instead
of the usual going to the cottage, eating makkara, drinking
beer and falling off the boat tradition, stay in Helsinki. It's
a pretty eerie experience staying in a completely empty city
I'm interested in arranging a Suomenlinna minicon sometime
in June now that we have distinguished guests coming over... as
long as the con wont coincide with any good football games on TV
Just give me good dates and we'll have some pussika.. limu
on the fortress walls and if weather is bad we'll invade
Kappeli again

The accepted way of dying on midsummers eve is falling into the water and
drowning whilst pissing overboard.
To avoid becoming a statistic please follow instructions that follow:
- Drink, or otherwise obtain an empty bottle of Mehukatti. This is a
high-quality juice bottle of plastic with a resealable cap. It also meets the
EU standards.
- Wear trousers with a zipper.
- Find a piece of string, or 'nippuside' (tie strap).
- Fasten said bottle to zipper using tie strap and confirm the bottle is
empty.
- Drown
- Can will float, and fasten your zipper when you sink towards bottom.
- You won't be seen in the 'drowning whilst urinating over the railing'
statistic.
- Profit.
Addendum:
Body fat ratios, choice of clothing, saltiness of water and temperature may
affect buoyancy. To avoid floting by means of Mehukatti buoyancy and thus
potentially failing at point 5 (Drowning), adjust mass-to-volume ratio by
adding rocks in your pockets or diving belt.
Happy drinking.
