The point.. of my post.. wasn't that you all make cash and buy eq.. 
The point was rather that the "new highbies" are totally and utterly clueless.
They dont know where the eq comes from or what eq is out there except what
they see on sales. Perhaps making this mud more newbie friendly would only
augment the problem. Make them walk to areas.. get rid of those newbie
teleport posts.. make em walk i say!

been clueless players, I feel that back in '95-97 when I actually
played there were even more than now. Whether they are highbies
or not, does it really make a difference? Why do you see them as
a personal insult of some kind? They are not competing on your
equipment making grounds, they are not (too well) respected by the
general public... what's the actual problem with them?
And no, I fail to see making this mud easier to get into for
lvl 1-30 players spawning a lot of new 'clueless highbies', whom
I fail to see as a problem, so I guess I just fail to see your
point. If there was any.
