Lets play with some consistancy here. Coders go through alot to make
challenges for eq. Stop disrespecting them buy buying your set from someone
else who went through the effort to make it. Do your own quest (btw congrats
on lq 30. many have tried and failed, you deserve respect for that - that
being the only reason i considered responding to your flame) I will not post
my reasons for not puttin in the time/effort/patience to figure it out for
myself. Leave it be that I do not want to do it from scratch. I will pay for
the comodity of that knowledge just as for the comodity of eq. This just
happens to be one that the person will not have to give up anything or risk
rip in eq party to get.

There is one important difference between eq and quests.

Equipment is a commodity. You work to get it and you receive a single piece.
Then you can sell it - and the other guy gets it and you don't have it
anymore. If you want another, you have to go and get it yourself or buy it.

Quests are information. Usually you have to work to get that information,
but after that it is infinitely replicateable. You can give it to everybody
in the mud and you still have it yourself. Also, unless you do something
special, you can not just give the "fruits" of the information to someone -
you have to give the whole information and that gives the other person the
possibility to sell or give that information onwards.

As it is, most quests are like equipment you can duplicate on a whim.

Hence... I personally do not like selling quest information one bit. And if
I were to make a quest, I'd try very hard to make it such that it cannot be
sold. And if I don't remember incorrectly, putting quest information on
websites is even forbidden.

Well just make quests so that no-one can make those undoable by killing one
monster or so. It's really really really fun to start exploring quests when
you cannot evet start exploring. Other thing is that those syntaxes what some
quests needs are mostly boring... for example there is hole in wall. Well you
cannot go through hole, or enter it, you have to jump into it.;

Most boring things about some area/levels quests are that you have to wait 5
mins in room that monster says the needed phrase.

I know that this sounds i don't have lots of patience but i really don't like
trying lots of different syntaxes or waiting in room so that i can read one
syntax that i need.
