Some species of monkeys on earth do hunt in packs. Barsoomians however are
alien to this world. The information is said in the race description. They
might hunt solo only when three green moons shine in the sky and hibernate at
all other times. Most of the races in batmud are not the same ones as in
popular myth. For instance batmud zombies are aliens, not undead ( it is also
said in the race description), they just look like them.
If we start whining for bonuses to races on this principle, why stop there:
Trees grow in forests, why don't ents have packbonus. Humans live in
communities, why don't they have packbonuses. Some cats ( tigers etc) hunt
alone, why should catfolk have pack bonus. Thrikhren are insects, most insects
live in huge colonies, why don't thriks get huge penalties if they are without
their queen?

-*has full HP's* I was merely drawing a parallel between another catfolk and
its earth borne couter part on the assumption that the catfolk pack bonus had
something to do with large cat pack hunting. The logic follows that if one
race gets a bonus of sorts based on earthen creatures, why not another? If I
am wrong, well, it happens all the time.
