i think the problem here is not in the powerhour but in the fact that exp
means everything here. for example if you are a merchant for 5years you make 8
exp and money yes. but being a merchant that long gives doesnt give you any
power in the game itself.
no i dont have an answer how to change that but it would make the game much
more interesting if the merchant guild for example could have some effect in
your playing except repairs and prots.

This place is reserved for something more intelligent.

On the surface it seems like a good idea, but the purpose of the power hour is
to benefit those who play just a little each day. To some degree merchants
have an advantage here already. They can earn money while not logged in via
the reagent/mineral exchange and their carts. So a merchant could already
play very little and still gain some benefit (in theory). I do admit it is
not the same as power hours.... but I guess in the long run if you can only
play like 30 min to an hour a day, maybe you're better off doing exp and not
being a merchant (at least until you make some exp) but the merchant guild is
not even designed to work your way up in it.

Roboting for 21h then work with materials for 2h and put items into cube, shop
etc :) Sure merchant can gain benefit and play very little.
