I have three questions I would like to see answered.

1. How do you plan to fix the in-game economy, you can't sell shit nowadays.
Inflation is higher than ever before, cash means nothing other than you are a
moron who likes to kill cashmobs.

2. How do you plan to fix the eq-abuse.

3. When are you going to make reincarnation something fun and not something
horribly painful and extreme gay as it is now, it used to be the best part of
the game, now even that has lost it's touch due to 'new and improved' code.

1 & 2.
No matter what you or anyone claim, these two are actually the same
problem. There needs to be a fix to 2 to be able to do anything to 1 -
and any reasonable fix for 2 will probably make 1 even worse.

The main problem in Bat 'economy' is that it really is not a real economy
and it does not even try to simulate one. There is infinite amount of
wealth generated to game from out of nothing and there are artificial
ways of removing infinite wealth from game (levelcosts, playercity taxes etc).
This results to instability since the wealth generated is not at all balanced
amongst the players and the activity levels of a few dozen players can
change the amount of wealth generated.

The biggest problem however is that the only way to actually generate
the cash is from monster drops (iems and money) and that the amount of
those drops is infinite. So effectively you can get infinite amount of
money from those drops by selling them to "outside" the player-player
interactivity economy. Bad news is that almost all games work in a
similar way, so there is no easy solution to this.

I have some ideas of fixing the whole game economy to work in a whole
different way, but implementing those would require a few hundred hours of
planning and coding, going over every single piece of equipment in game,
changing the underlaying mechanics. Also it would change the game much
more than the '95 conversion - I don't think neither arches or mortals
would buy the idea for the time being.

3.
The polished old/new reinc system is way better than the old
'here's your exp' thingy and many many mortals asked for it. Granted,
the most loud ones opposed it from the start. However I agree that
some formulas should be changed so that the exp is gained back at a
more steady ratio. In my opinion, it should also be more beneficial
(other than less exp loss) to do those pain-in-the-ass slow reincs.
