The new target tune seems to be basically ok, the damage does not spread so
evenly on tanks which means that they are forced to have a healer in their
party (or have similar hp maxes). But the problem is that there are not many
newbie healers willing to party in real newbie parties. And the amount of ~30
lvl tarmies is like three. One of them is an idiot, the other is idle and the
third one does not want to party with other newbies since he/she gets more exp
when dragged in a midbie party.
As far as I know, most of newbie characters are tanks. Being a nomad is the
minmax way to go and you probably advance faster as a nomad tank than a
religious/civilized tank. But now it is even harder to cope with parties as a
non-nomad newbie tank since you get buttfucked by monsters when your two nomad
friends keep beating the monsters without getting a scratch themselves. Maybe
we could get some sense to this targeting system? After all, I've understood
that this is a party mud and I would like to see all kind of tanks able to
party with each other without this painful hussle with one tank getting it's
ass kicked back to stone age. Right now partying as a low hpmax tank is just
too frustrating.
