I meant realistic in a fantasy-game context. Magic, classical races from the
mythologies and tales, etc. Realistic isn't a short sword that does more
damage than huuge axe, nor are tune-mutated PCs without better explanation
than "yawn, too lazy to mug around with stats. dropped it's head, t'was
easier." Realistic in a way that anyone can use their common sense to figure
out at least the basic stuff "big and heavy is good", "small and whiney makes
squishy sounds under big and heavy". For an example, why do you think
Counterstrike is so much more popular than Team Fortress or other FPS-games
with weird lasers that make big noises but small results? Counterstrike is
realistic in it's own context yes, but there are certain rules derived from
real world: "pistol is small and weak, AR is big and effective". See? That way
people have a chance to use their own head and not forced to learn new
meanings for familiar words like giant or minotaur. "whoops, this is an AK-47
but it shoots flowerpower because of downtune"
