There are no restores on hard core batmud. Never ever. Ever.

...wtf @ dogi and getting hit by uncon special, then getting banished from
monster, logging into batmud and whining in bat channel for someone to come
and dd him in hcbat, dying and then getting a restore after few days?

Brief history about restores in HCBat;

2002 - Restores happen
Late 2002 - Arches notice that it's quite impossible to draw the line
for deciding when to restore and when not -> "help restore"
is born.
Few weeks later - Certain character (cough..) vblows himself to death,
gets restored by arch1 and zapped by arch2 the next day.
2005/2006 - Dogi restore pt 1.
2008 - Dogi restore pt 2.

Between the end of 2002 and current moment, there has been quite lot of deaths
worth considering a restore. That is if such thing existed. So please, update
the help file to describe the process or stick to the rules.

If the explanation is the relic "archwizards are always right", just ignore
this post.

Why are you discussing this in here, instead of hcbatmud, where it belongs?
Why would normal batmud care.
