Can we get some kind of "consideration" for the anti-robot "plant lore" thing
if we are actually doing experimentation?
I just reinced back into this guild, and was disappointed to see that we don't
have "mining" skills. (When I was an alch last time, I did all my own mining
for minerals, AS PART OF THE ALCH GUILD.) Its true that some folks, (and some
alchs), have used robots to harvest enormous parts of the outerworld in the
past, but this is a RIDICULOUS way to fix it. Yesterday I tried more than 100
potion combinations. I filled and emptied my 50-slot can TWICE, and was
getting ready for another run. This time I had my 50-slot can filled with
organs, AND my 20-slot can filled with organs. As I mentioned, I had just
reinced, so I was walking the outerworld, taking the scenic route, getting my
navigator-guild location memory slots filled. As I walked, I would pick any
ripe plants I saw. I was *NOT* roboting. I had verbose on, and I use zMud to
"color code" any plants that are currently ripe. If I saw yellow, I stopped
and picked things.
At each area, I killed what I could handle, until my cans were full. I was
walking to another area, and again, remember I'm carrying SEVENTY organs, and
I'm headed to the guild to do potion experimentation at the end of this walk.
I see a blueberry bush. Blueberry bushes have six berries, so I type "6 pick
berry".

GAIA SAYS (i don't remember, i'm paraphrasing here): YOU MUST STOP RAPING ME
AND ABUSING NATURE! IF YOU DON'T STOP, I'LL TOTALLY F--- UP YOUR DAY, YOU
DIRTY ALCHEMIST!
But, of course, I had typed "6 pick", so guess, what, I pick one more berry,
and now I no longer have the skill Plant Lore. It went from 85% to "does not
have".
So, my point is, Is there any way that you could "give credit" for research
done this boot? Like, whatever the number of things picked before the
anti-robot plant curse goes into effect, every time you mix a potion, have it
reduce by two, or something like that?

I really do want to be an alchemist, but DAMN, you make it hard sometimes.
