Some things for beginners, not in any particular order:
- There is a thing called Delekaia's device located in southeast part of main
guild hall. Feed keys into it. Any keys, they're all equal, only the amount
matters. After people have fed enough of them, a new room will appear to the
elevator. You can train your aspects of 'situational warfare' there. You must
contribute though, if you don't feed anything, you cannot train either.
- When ordering your blade, the amount of hours spent working on it is the
thing that matters, not the salary. The bigger salary you give to the smith,
the faster you'll get your blade since the best payer always goes on the top
of the queue.
- There is an instructor wandering around the guildhall (a wolfman if i
remember correctly), I strongly recommend you to talk to him, he has a lot of
information to offer.
- As you have probably noticed, people can only enter the building leading to
the elevator for a short period at time. This doesn't mean you can't kill the
guard to fasten things up, they don't do anything nasty, normal small mobs.
- Vampiric blow is NOT our main skill, it works partly differently than it
did in old locs.
- Using both shield and a weapon, whether it's a locblade or normal weapon,
is useful. You'll notice why.
...just some random hints that came to my mind at this point. More to come,
maybe.
Just a couple things I would like to add to the FAQ:
- You maybe have seen those maelstroms sparkling with raw chaos energy at our
guild hall. Stay a while in the same room with them and you will learn useful
information, especially about the sword making process. The topic they will
teach you about seems to be random, so you get different info even from the
same maelstrom.
- Remember to keep your eyes open while travelling and you might find some
fellow kharims who will talk to you and teach you new things.
..On a second thought, maybe the wolfman in the guild hall already made these
points clear?
