The following changes are taking place in the reaver guild:

-- under protest, it is now the case that destroying a monster's item does not
give energy until the monster itself is destroyed.

That's the bad news. Here's the good news.

-- You now receive the full amount of energy for any monster you attempted to
destroy. By "attempted" I do not mean "took one swipe at it and walked away
until it died". I mean "beat it repeatedly till it stopped breathing". You no
longer need to get the killing blow for full credit. In fact, multiple reavers
can share the same monster, as long as they all try appropriately to kill it.

-- You gain power from items you destroy even if you do not kill the monster.
You just have to be around when it died.

This is a relatively large uptune. Destroying a mosnter's eq is really not
that much energy compared to the monster itself anyhow. Also, it makes reaver
parties, in particular riot/rebellion parties, gain energy that much faster
since the kill can be shared now.
