I've got some minor tidbits to take care of before I get to combat, so you've
got some time to comment on the following plan to keep things roughly in line
as far as 'ship killing' goes.
1) A ship which is anchored takes 1/3rd normal damage.
2) A ship which is anchored for > 10 minutes is immune to damage.
The goal being that ship to ship combat will not ruin people's day, although
if you're on the ball you can 'pkill' someone's ship. Note that salvaging
costs aren't outrageous, so even if a ship is sunk, the losses shouldn't be
too terrible.
Eventually (maybe not this year), there will be NPC ships for you to hunt down
as well.
