There's no _real_ player-to-player interaction.

We all live in our safe, personal environment that cannot be
significantly affected by other players. Sure, you can _annoy_
people, but that's all you can do: dying means nothing, you can't
lose eq, you can't lose your house (practically). If you can't
lose anything, there's no excitement. And all your opponents in
the mud-world are just simple-minded NPCs.

I've played in other muds, and, although they have much smaller
player bases, the excitement that real player vs. player interaction
brings is remarkable. Nothing beats playing a game against _human_
opponents, with human allies.

I can already hear some of you saying: "Go play elsewhere if you
don't like it here". But I dare insist that most of you would like
this mud a bit more exciting. No?

Don't get me wrong. I think Bat is a remarkably well developed world
with huge amount of nice details. It's just that it all eventually
gets boring if there's no surprise element, if your opponents always
act the same, if you never risk losing anything prescious.
