How about adding a possibility to buy a claim to a piece of equipment even if
you havent made it yourself? The price could depend on items sacvalue or be
just high enough to disable abuse. This would also get some money out of the
game, eh?
Well, eqmakers are probably strongly against this but what can I say cause I'm
an idiot.
OK, I said this before, but apparently some of you weren't paying attention.
The whole idea behind putting names on eq, and having those names make a
serious difference, was because nobody was making eq, they were all buying it.
Allowing people to buy names on eq is exactly the reverse of the letter and
the spirit of the tune in the first place.
It's not really that hard of a concept.

You forgot one form of getting eq, trading. Untill recent tunes, people have
traded good eq for good eq. The thing is that not everyone can kill all the
mobs even one wishes so. For example me as devouted evil_relig, cannot kill
few mobs and thus get their eq with my name on those.
Even you claim what, the truth is that no highbie will pay many mb's for
nameless eq. Who wants 12m worth ecma which rots faster and more over can be
lost for every week mcdemons? Only way to get money from that ring is about
to sell it mb 1k and where we are then? Newbies getting rocking eq! Wasnt
that tune against that?
Back in old days you could collect good set of rocking eq and change those
to something else rocking and players were happy. If you dont want newbies
to use some highbieish eq, put lvl limit to those. I know its terrible
artificial, but then again, this system is drowning good part of this game.
And yes, this new system forces us to sell good eq for ridiculous prices
that we can cover our reinc costs, citybuildings etc... Less we get money
from eq, more we have to sell it to cover our expenses.
