I been away for a couple weeks over the holidays now and came back and reading
all this stuff about the eq tunes and whatnot. now i think it would be really
nice if you were able to "buy" your name on a piece of eq, not cheap or
anything but if that person in particular doesnt want to go make his own eq
but rather make a merchant and save up alot of cash and buy a nice set. then
you have to pay a certain % depending on the piece of eq and its stats to get
your name on it. that way it would be another option to get eq set. just a
thaught i had

I think the whole idea in the first place was to encourage people to make eq
and therefore would get their own names to an item. What you are suggesting
leads to the situation that existed before the name system was invented. If
there would be an alternative way to get a name on an item, wouldn't it be
same to just remove the name system once and for all?

How about making it so that is a player ha eq from, let's say soth without
ones name on the given eq, if hw is wearing the eq while he kills soth - the
eq he is wearing also gets his/her name on it.
