Current guild costs are working mostly well. For newbies reincing is very
cheap, for highbies it's expensive and for midbies it's somewhere in middle so
anyone who plays somewhat constantly should be able to make enough money to be
able to reinc. But, those who log in more casually are often struggling.
Picture someone who is offline for very long time and then likes to log in and
play for couple days/weeks before for reason or another, again goes away for
months/years. I'm sure most of us know someone like that. In most cases the
first thing they want to do is reinc, but having spent their money already
without having time to make cash for another reinc, they are unable to afford
it. So, here's couple suggestions to make it at least a bit easier for casual
players, and i think casual reincers would welcome these as well:
1) With three months (or more/less, just a suggestion) from your last reinc,
guild costs could be halved (or more/less, again just a suggestion), and stay
so until all reinc exp is spent.
2) One totally free reinc per year. Every year you get to reinc for free
('freereinc me' at mortis), and on new year's day or so, you'd gain new free
reinc. These wouldn't stack of course, or at least not in my vision. This may
have been suggested before, but even at risk of that i think it's worth
suggesting again.
I think these would encourage casual players to come back at least every once
in a while, and they would also encourage all players to try out different
reincs.
