This would make reincs more unique and give some variety between all of those
human tigers and catfolk monks and so on..
Please comment on this and build up the idea. Or just hack it to zillions of
pieces and throw it to trash.

It'd be nice to see more variety between players, but in a min-maxing MUD
which we unarguably are it'd just lead either to an insignificant feature
(the possible deviation in stats would be tiny) or a balancing nightmare
and a lot of whiny mortals who didn't dice well, in addition to constant
re-reincing to get a better character. In general (and in my opinion)
RL luck should not be given any more importance in character improvement
than it already has.
Nonetheless, variety would be nice, if someone can come up with an ingenious
system that defies my objections yet providing diversity, I for one am
interested in hearing about it.
