Greetings! As you have noticed, the new food-bonus system has been in game for
a while. Now we've taken the next step and introduced a cooking skill into the
game.
The local master chef has moved to the same building as the former Gnome
Warehouse, after a very lucrative rent agreement (all those rotting gnomes are
bad for business).
Go visit. He might be even willing to teach you some cooking, if you can
figure out how to please him.
If you wish to do cooking, you will either need a campfire, or a stove
(purchaseable from the Pantry shop, in the kitchen). The stoves should save in
castlerooms like workbenches once bolted.
Rgds, your friendly neighbourhood Sage
PS. For now, the quality of the produced food has no effect on the bonuses. I
want to give you a small incentive to start trying. At some point in the
future, the better quality will mean better bonuses.
PPS. I'm monitoring and tuning as necessary. I'm especially interested in the
success/failure ratio of the skill.
