If I didn't mention it, I would recommend that there can be only one bonus
transferred to a given item (it can't take on more afterwards). If there is
a loss involved with the draining, or something else to balance things,
wouldn't it be controllable? Or, perhaps, disallow things that are very
imbalanced, such as +dodge (as you indicated).
Beyond that, can anyone think of anything else that might improve the
situation with forged eq? To be sure, if the bonuses that various materials
gave were more easily identifiable, that might help. Any ideas?
