As a pure tarma (well, plus a couple of navi levels) there's not too many
possibilities of soloing in batmud. There seems to be only very few quests in
batmud which don't require fighting, and the tarma guild has no guild quests.
At least for me, playing as a tarma consists primarily of asking for a party,
which I then passively follow, and healing the tanks. The only real excitement
in the game is to get my skills and spells improved.

One possibility for more active action would be, of course, leading parties
myself. However, besides not having leading skills (neither character skills,
which are obviously not available to a tarma, nor my own experience at leading
parties), most parties just usually want three things: Exp, money and/or eq,
preferably as fast as possible. Most people would get bored to death in a
slow-paced exploring where the leader is actually *reading* the doom
descriptions and trying to solve puzzles and riddles.

Since tarmas don't have quests of their own, and their possibilities of
soloing are so limited, wouldn't it be nice if there was at least one
(biggish) quest dedicated to healers only? I don't know, like some kind of
incentive for healers, and perhaps appreciation. The reward for completing the
quest doesn't have to be anything fancy or valuable, just the quest itself
would be reward enough. A quest (preferably a somewhat long one) which is
doable by healers (and only by healers), where you don't have to fight but
where you have to solve puzzles and riddles or perform tasks. I'm not sure
what kind of quests it could be, whether it would be some area, or perhaps
something done around batworld (some kind of pilgrimage-type quest, perhaps
similar to the shrine search levelquest but related to healing tasks). There
could perhaps be some kind of initial requirement to be able to start the
quest. For example perhaps you would have to heal an npc about 400 hps in one
cast (if you are unable and heal less, the npc would just say something along
the lines of "sorry, you are not powerful enough") or something.

I really like this idea -- being a tarm is tedious at times and requires *live*
players that actively party/need a healer.

I'd love for something to do solo instead of helplessly trying to ress/raise
players that mysteriously overlook my offers!

I would OK with helping whoever is in charge of this coming up with quests, and
i'm sure the OP would too!
