Apparently it is impossible that there are more than four loremasters,
and apparently it is also impossible to forcefully demote someone who
logs in once per two months and approves a couple of alm lyrics and
goes back offline.

So could one of our current loremasters stop being one and let me have
fun for once?

Or better yet, could the system be changed so that you could get guild
leadership by playing the game more than the current leaders? Be it either
1) getting exp
2) writing bardic stuff, tales and plays and stuff
3) taking part in current events of the game and making records of them
4) gaining vast ingame knowledge
5) something else

I would like to know that I could be a loremaster or even a masterbard
if I did things X, Y and Z. Now my only option is to wait until the
current leadership dies of old age.

Comments about being a loremaster from one who was such thing soime years
ago...
Considering that being a loremaster consists mostly of auditing new plays,
tales, errands etc of bards-to-be, getting lots of exp or writing plays of
your own or such thing is no direct help. Of course one should know how does
bard guild work, and preferably have seen several tales and plays to be able
to pass judgment on them. More important is IMHO helpful nature and being
often available in game...no matter what one actually does in the game, it
would be nice to at least check regularly what is happening, are there
requests from willing actors etc.

Back in the day it was noticed that it's a good idea to have at least one
loremaster who plays at odd hours (typically meaning one loremaster from
American timezones). It was also a good idea to have at least one loremaster
who was of lower level/experience since he would be easier to approach than
all these high-and-mighty highbies in level 100...
I haven't really been that active in the guild to know if these ideas are
followed currently but monitoring availablility of loremasters is of course a
job of masterbard.
