Does it have to? Is it really necessary? How about a 1x per boot charge, if a
MINIMUM of 1k is necessary. Beastmasters are savage, dirty people. Not oil

Are you using the continent stables? I don\'t notice the cost to stable my
mount in my city (I think it\'s 500 gold). Perhaps you need to shop around, or
only store your horsie when necessary.
Don\'t forget you can call your mount (without inventory - that excludes eq) to
any stable on any continent.

only allows you to store 1 mount.
It's just too expensive. Let people set a minimum price of 200 or so for pcity
stables if they so wish. It's not too terrible with just one mount, but with
herding and stampede, keeping multiple mounts and using them is a hefty chunk
of change. Don't get me wrong..it's doable if you only spend 4k to get your
mount and herd of drakes out to go a-smiting, but it still seems a bit much,
especially if, like me, you're on several times per boot.
While i'm on the line for money...can we please set up 'refit mount gear' to
where it uses the scraps of leather we can get from butchering?
