Is it true that the ship code does not give bonuses
to lift power, speed mage or water speed after crew
rank 7? I was trying to browse through the sailor group
and didnt quite find answer to this. If some could check
on this and give some answer? Im puzzled abit what
bonuses does the over rank7 crew give anyway.

I would really like my ship to travel faster than it
does and I bet alot of people aim for the same.
I would also like the speed setting to have
actually other valid setting than max.
I think the max just is not enough.
Just saying that even we spend alot of time here,
ships are just slow considering the vast distances.
Class3 on tradeline works nice tho.

Ships are awesome, im not whining just hoping some
chatter on the matter.
And yeah if anyone thinks ships could be bit faster with
higher rank crew give +rate.

I have no idea if you get bonuses, but it's crazy easy to set things water
speed. just time how long it takes to you sail. I have times saved from when
i had crappy sailors once i have better i'll time again and see how much a of
difference it makes.

This is untrue. You may continue to level up your crew members infinitely for
increased speed and lift gains, but the rate at which how much the leveling is
actually effective (i.e. linear or exponential) will be left unknown and up to
your experimentation. Speed caps were removed some time ago and I removed the
lift caps last year sometime.

As far as to what bonuses are given to "lifetime" crew...I interpret the
console info as simply being able to train it past level ...whatever it was.
When you give them the lifetime ability, their special ability is removed
(trainer, loyalist, rebel, etc.) and you get to train them more. That's pretty
much it.
