The dutchcon has come and gone, and what a relaxed, peaceful event it was.
Pretty much what you would expect from a con which was surrounded by billowing
clouds of sweet smelling smoke. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, an epic
knockout competition was held with seven would-be champions attempting to beat
all others at the card game Shithead.

There would have been an eighth participant but he was napping, sorry Zenor!

Raizar, Moss, Nepnep, Noctur, Sarmangoth, Spid, and Shura were the mighty
gladiators to pit their wits against each other. After each game of Shithead,
the "shithead" a.k.a loser gets knocked-out. Don't worry my fluffy mortal
chums; they were not physically harmed in any way!

(although Noctur took a few punches on the arm after a game, at which point
the group voted against any form of forfeit... though you could still call the
loser "shithead!")

After four games there remained three brave warriors; Moss, Nepnep, and
Sarmangoth. Sarmangoth fell by the wayside but got a 3rd place reward! I
fought for everything wizardly but failed to conquer the might of NEPNEP the
true Shithead Champion!

Many thanks go to the Dutch peeps Dandy, Favorit, Raizar, and Shura for
organising the accommodation, providing transport, and lots of MEAT for the
BBQ! Also thanks to the Finns, and German who turned up to drink beer and
enjoy each others company.
