I don't think secondaries should have been able to sell their rewards to huge
amounts of gold. I don't think everyone else should have been able to buy
them for huge amounts of gold and use them normally..

But seriously.. waiting until the event is over, and who the hell knows how
many hundreds of megs of gold has changed hands.. player-A grinds points..
sells to player-B.. player-B buys a rig and sells it to player-C.. player-B
reinvests money in more bags from player-D.. how much money has changed hands?
how the fuck can you "undo" this..

It shouldn't have been allowed.. but it was. At this point changing the items
and telling us to 'unwind' is really just laughable. It was allowed.. just
say "yeah it was a bad idea" and just let it go rather than screwing us all
over?

like you couldn't see it coming, its still perfectly usable for half a year.
even year for some items. Events shouldn't really give permanent items, it is
just silly. And with every event, there is always winners and losers, if
player B bought items thinking they are going to be permanent topend things he
achived for 2 hours of work, then player B deserved to be a loser.

I did indeed see it coming.. which is why I waited until close to the end of
the event to 'get in on it'. When the event is 3 days into it and all
negative comments about it are defended as intended.. well, whatever.
