I really like batmud and enjoy playing on a regular basis, but I have to say
... I was a little confused by the April Fool's Day event. I thought it was
posted somewhere that players of all levels could play, but I did not find that
to be true. First of all, I was in small parties and soloed throughout the
entire day and nothing dropped. Finally, I randomly found a barrel, got a
small party to kill the barsoomian, got the label, but ... ofc I couldn't get
into an eq party to go and kill it. I hoped to have gotten points from killing
the barsoomian, but I had 0. Spending that much time on an event and to get 0
points was so discouraging. I didn't even want or expect a high end prize, but
I really hoped to get something, anything, for my efforts. I am frustrated
with events on batmud that only cater to a handful of people. I think the
events need to include everyone, including the midbies.

A few years ago, there was this awesome event...the Lunar Madness event or
whatever, for Halloween, which really was ALL inclusive, even allowed joining
of a special guild for a year or so, which was pretty awesome, I thought! That
event needs to be recycled and redone, I thought it was great.
