Templars look like an interesting guild, and rep system makes it even more
interesging.
I was bit surprised, as looking at the addon skills/spells, it seems quite
nice.
But it seems its only on paper
1. Buffs, and no QC.
Im having really hard time to buff my party with the minor buffs templars
have.
Not to mention my personal buffs that works only on self.
It screams for adding that 1% QC to templars/animists so that while partying
it becomes possible to prot on reasonable time.
2. Congregation seems to be wicked, but sometimes it fails miserably.
Like when casting blessing of faerwon: sometimes i am able to cast on only two
members.
Sometimes on whole 8man. When there is a mix of good and evil, it seems to be
random or bugs.
Templar with its spmax just cant recast anything, after such fail.
SoF and BoF in one regen break? Keep dreaming!
3. Divine enhancement spell - it looks great in help.. but does it work?
When chatting with more experienced templars - they say it doesnt help at all,
and is treated like filler no-study spell. Please fix / give some info when
shield
with this spell really helps tank behind it. Could be masteries dependant,
too.
4. Holy strike.
For a skill that has hard requirements (works only with blessed weapons, and
only against evils)
it has quite low dam and its slow. Not sure if the dam output and speed
depends on mastery
so - if it does, great. Otherwise - would be nice to have it uptuned to align
with Righteousness.
Maybe with some tunes templars wouldnt be picked only for rescue/parry/hpmax
aura..
Thats all i have for now. Use it or ignore it.
Dont treat it as a whine, not my intention!
More to come!
