In comparison to most spells, harm spells require that you not only succeed in
casting the spell but you must also succeed in reaching your target to be able
to get your spell off. As lower level players typically may have lower spell
percentages and lower attack percentage, I've decided to modify harms so that
it is easier to succeed in reaching the opponent when using the minor harm
spells. The benefit of this effect is greater the less efficient the spell
generally is. This means that cause light wounds is much more easier to reach
with than it is with hemorrhage. This modification affects all harm spells
except for aneurysm, harm body and certain ugly ladies from the east.
Hopefully this makes minor harm spells a more viable option for the newbie
