I don't want to go into spoilers in a news post, but in summary the magic
entity does not become available until you've raised your other entity levels
to a very, very high amount. Considering the magic entity is the only entity
that works for backrow casters, it seems like gating this behind a massive
entity level grind really hurts newer players. One way to help with this would
be to reduce the number of enity levels requried to unlock this task by half.
My prefered option would be to base it on Riftwalker levels the player has. We
already do this for capturing certain entities (aka you can't get an earth
entity at level 4 in the guild). That way we can prevent someone from only
investing a couple of levels in the guild to get the magic entity. It'll still
require a level commitment, but less of a grind for newer players.

Short answer, no.
Long answer, it's a guild built heavily around rep, and the magic entity is
the accumulation of that rep. The magic entity itself isn't insanely powerful
but it is useful for specific things. It's the cherry on the cake, something
to aim for but by no means essential.
