How about a skill and selling system that would give you xp for selling stuff
you made. Not much, but some, like a 1/20th of the selling price. So if you
sell a 60k chest, you get 3k xp :) It's something to help out those newbies
out there that are trying to make it as a merchant... Checks would have to be
made so people don't sell each other stuff back and forth just to make xp:
item created is branded by creator's name, when selling skill is used,
creators name is removed so item cannot be sold again. I liked it back in the
day when tarma's got 5xp for each cure light wounds they casted. or something
like that :)

Or how about the chest exchange...for those who are pushing for a standard on
prices...give 'em to the exchange and the exchange will sell them for you. The
problem with prices is that everyone has a 'FRIEND' who sells chest at
discounted prices. If this is the case, no standard will ever work, at least
not on a fair scale. To avoid problems with current material exchange where
person A has 99kg at 1000 and person B has 10kg as 1000, but you only get
person B's materials only if there are no more of person A's...have it be
randombly sorted, like a lottery kinda thing. If chest from A and B and C,
same price and all, but A has bargain/shopkeeping/etc skills higher than all
of them, then A gets higher percentage of selling than B and C. I'm thinking
of party shares system here, where leader has higher share, and everyone
else's is levelbased. Except having higher % doesn't guarantee selling...I'm
thinking lottery system here. that way everyone has a chance to sell at same
price.

make chests more prone to damage. The repairs market is really crappy out
there. There are more chests being made than sold. And all by same merchant :)
hehehe, really though...make it so items need more care.

To stop people reincing in and out of guild, have it so it takes at least 2
weeks to reach maximun level even if you have the xp for it. Add more quests
between levels...quests as time consuming as donate 10000 blood to hospital :)
that should keep people from reincing in, make a chest or repair their eq,
then reinc out.

That's it for now, you know where the flames go...
