Maybe code a way to refresh fires just like floating disc? You can see a
message like \"The fire is growing dimmer\" so you can add wood by
using the skill over. This can help regains and maybe even give smaller
rangers a chance for their mastery to work without changing rooms.

What about adding that feature to all spells/skills/stuff you can
cast/create/produce?
I doubt highly it will upset the game or game balanced if you could "use
firebuilding" -> "You add some wood to the fire feeding the flames" or
"cast'unpain' bob" -> "You feel your will getting strenghtened".
In code level it would be achived easily by over writing the creator info,
and extend the lasting time to that point where the extenders skill/spell
would make it normaly last. If lazy coded or lack of inspiration, you could
use the same mesages that effect sends when it gets "on" in the replenish
message. Only question mark issue i would see is the spell(s) stacking with
themself (mind development) but simply leaving them untouched would solve the
problem. The stacking ability is already a way to replenish it, even if would
like to see the mind development converted to a spell that would not stack on
itself and give a flat X increasment to max sp.
