The whole idea of grenades to another room is a bad one and should stop.
Seriously there are tons and tons of ways that can be abused and i really dont
feel like going into them all, nor dealing with the huge amount of stress and
restores that would entail. The idea of a nomad backrow guild is really cool
tho, ive had similiar ideas of a "musketeer" guild. Someday ill wiz and code
it :P or try to at least!

What exactly is so cool about a "nomad back row guild"? Once you apply game
balance, it is either a decent solo guild with extremely bad, but existent,
backrow capabilit, or it is a modestly decent backrow "blaster" with a
pathetic, yet existant, ability to solo. Both of which are actually already
available in other backgrounds. Yes it would have a different name, but that
falls into the category of wouldn't it be cool if this "insert nice artistic
idea here" guild existed and happened to be a backrow nomad. and yes idea of
grenades to another room is indeed quite total crap. One only needs to think
for maybe 3 seconds to come to that conclusion.

Personally, I'd think a non combat nomad guild would be "cool", but what do I
know :)

Grizzt and me drew up some plans for an archer guild, possibly as an extension
to rangers, possibly not. The planning is pretty much complete, with standard
bow attack from backrow (in the same room as monster), plus skills with which
you could do some bonus thingys, like multiple shot, arrow of seeking, fire
arrows etc. Different quivers would be made by merchants and mobs could have
cool bows or quivers (quiver slot would be added to guildmembers) etc etc etc.
That was already too much detail
Anyway. Recoding battlesystem to support ranged attacks was a bit too much for
me at that stage. Several other wizards have stuck on that same problem when
trying to implement archers. Maybe some day, but not today.
