Well obviously the key to making any new guild is to create something that
fills an obvious lack. Also flavor is considered a "lack" in this certain
regards. Being able to tank eq or move into the backrow has always been a
useful ability. You see this with the old bard/sabre/channellers, or reaver
priests. Also the fact that so far nomad guild has been totally bereft of
intersesting choices for guilds makes the idea of a backrow blaster guild
there rather cool imho. Lets look at nomad bg: rangers and crimsons , the two
basically OLDEST guilds in the game atm, both who have gone through some very
very modest kludge fixes but for the most part are really out of step with the
muds movement toward rep, and quest based guild advancement. Also barbarians
, a bit better but still imho a very boring guild. Nomads have no navigators,
no spells, very very limited skills (basically just hack slash and some regen
skills), etc. Nomad bg sucks. Its basically for newbies with shitty eq, or
highbies who want to lead eq. Anykind of improvement there would be im sure
quite welcome, be it shamans, musketeers, bowmen, or penis-twiddlers!
