Have to write few lines in here too about my thoughts on recent discussion
about eqtune and rapeprots. In my opinion this recent tune works quite well.
You get extra value for your eq when it has you name on it and you cant rape
same eqmob zillion times. I admit its a real bitch when youre not a member of
ss and try to get eqparty rollin. Very often it breaks up when there are
couple members who cant do the eqs you planned and are skilled to do.
Of course the Gores idea (on flame group) would be noble and would largely
solve raping problems but it changes the game maybe too radically and at least
it would take time until new balance would be found. What i now was having on
my mind is just plainly address the fact that most problems here come from the
greed of the players (like in rl too). You are wondering why everything sells
at crap price and same time you are running your raping rounds again and again
until some prot tune hits and ruins it all. Clever? Not!
Please ppl use your brain and dont ruin the gaming pleasure of all other
players too just because you happen to need your tenth full mithril purse
filled up. Ok so where do people need this much money so they have to do this
often so boring raping action? I may not be the right person to comment this
but Eras statement that reinc at higher level costs around 1.9m is reasonably
high cost imho. Maybe changing guild level costs to exp would do the trick. In
other hand it would stop money flowing out of the game and increase inflation
so another problem arises from that.
Its just sad that we need some guidance from "outside" in form of rapeprots.
If and when they are needed i would still rather to see the kind of rapeprot
that would not instantly put your out of doing it for 3 months. I think prot
should hit if you do some monster like 5x in month and after prot it would
prevent you doing it for some perioid but now if you want some certain eq with
bad luck and with no ss you could end up waiting for years. That sucks monkey
balls.
